Yeah. She's always seemed to treat me like a friend, so I figure if she'll accept a devil under those conditions, she'll have no problems with a half-breed introduced by someone she trusts.

...Good question. He's not my master anymore, and 'boyfriend' sounds a bit too...I dunno, it implies something a bit more strongly established. I guess 'partner' covers it pretty decently?

Rachel might want to get a feel for him if I introduce her too...they're all pretty laid back, though. I mean, Silvia's dating Joe, and he's as much of a headache as Dante can be. She called him an 'idiot savant' when I asked her about him.

[ Vergil harumphs. He is playing entirely clueless, but the comment is like a stab, he knows he's been weak in this way. ]

Dante might be oblivious, but I know the signs of someone trying to play at being more selfish than he is. It's really only recently that I myself realized how few favors I was really doing myself.

[Either way, he stands up and puts his bowl of popcorn down in his seat.]

We'll wanna head out into the desert. Last time I really cut loose in the middle of a town, things got a little messy.

[ At least Vergil admits it. He think about the desert, then looks at his attire, rethinking it a little. ]

[He is, however, putting his shades back on. The idea is to go somewhere far away from human eyes, yes, but he's really more comfortable with his own covered.]

[ Vergil disappears and comes back in a few minutes, dressed in this top, these boots and black trousers. He feels a little odd, even though his outfit isn't quite modern. Out of place. Underdressed. He pushes all of this away and heads down the stairs, Yamato at his hip. ]

I don't feel like hiding my wings for this trip, so how about we skip the scenic route?

[He holds out a hand, and space subtly distorts to create a portal into the desert.]

[ Someday, Vergil wants to show Alastor that he can create portals too, but - despite that urge, he's going to keep it tucked in his back pocket for now. No need to reveal something before absolutely necessary. ]
