Definitely not like that, no. Not as good as properly cooked and seasoned meat, but definitely still savory. It's not bad, and really better for me than week-dead cow with all the blood already drained out.

You probably take after your human side in terms of palate, then, especially if the smell of blood doesn't make your mouth water.

I could do some proper butchering next time I take something down and bring part of it back to cook up, but it seems like a lot of effort to just bring it up to 'tolerable' for you.

You know I don't mind a few scratches any more than you do, right? Just gotta make sure we don't lose any blood crystals in the sheets, I don't think lying on even a small Red Orb would be comfortable.

And it's better cooked, but better for me if it's still fresh and bloody. Cleaning up the mess of hauling bloody meat into the kitchen just isn't worth it.

I can hold my own against you in a duel, remember? And before you say that was without using your demon form, I'll remind you that I still have my own super form I didn't have access to that time. I can deal with it if you get a bit carried away.

And I do understand the temptation. 'The bloodier the better' is exactly right, blood is the most important part of a meal for a demon. When I get a taste of it, I do have to consciously pace myself if it's from a living donor.
