[A wind current picks up to blow the scent of the demon's blood away from Dante. Alastor has to admit, it smells delicious...but it's Dante's kill, so if he wants the rest of it once he's thinking straight again, it's his.
He touches down on the ground and slowly approaches, wings furled against his back. It's impossible to look non-threatening in this form, but he doesn't want to set off any instincts that might jump at any thought a rival might be moving for his kill.]

[ It's difficult. He takes a deep breath and takes a few steps away from the demon corpse and towards Alastor. He immediately wants to cross back and start eating again, but he clutches his fists and it helps. ]
Yeah, just focus on me. All the lightning magic in me has a strong smell, so it should help block out the blood.
[He's much taller than Dante right now, but that's easily solved by crouching down. His hoofed feet and long tail make a stooped posture feel natural to him, bringing him down low enough to wrap his arms around Dante. Now, he smells even more strongly of ozone than he does usually, almost like standing in the middle of a stormcloud.]
[ The smell of ozone has become a familiar one, and the fact it's so strong right now helps. He's enveloped in it and he can't really make out the blood anymore.
[He winces at that. ...And keeps quiet about the thought that the leftovers actually look pretty tasty.]
You'll be fine. You might be half human, but I'm sure you still have at least some of a demon's iron stomach. I expect you'll want to wash the taste out, though...you said demon flesh tastes awful to you normally, yeah?
[But then, he did spend a lot of time in ancient Greece.]
But once your body finishes switching back to being mostly human, you're likely to be disgusted by the taste again. Gonna want to find you something to wash that down with that's palatable to a human...

[And he...has no clue what's good for food or drinks around here! So he's going to pull his phone out of magical storage and...realize he can't text with huge claws.]

It is. [And he stows his own phone.] My smaller form was for when I visited this world. I dealt with humans a lot back then too, after all...easier when you don't tower over them, or have hands that can shred them without even trying.
[And oh good. He didn't want to outright ask, but he's not going to turn down permission to have at the leftovers...though he will shield the view with his wings.]
