[With a recent photo of Fortuna, he's able to simply teleport there. Perching on top of a roof in his true form, he almost looks like some sort of living gargoyle...but in Purgatorio, he can 'listen' for Dante's emotions without worrying about misunderstandings with the locals.]
[ Dante is scared and angry, frustrated and overwhelmed. He ended up dragging the body away and, well, consuming as much of it as he could. What little is left of the human is fighting back, stopping him from giving in completely, to the point he's ended up in only a partial transformation.
His fangs are elongated and his eyes are red. There's formidable horns and claws, but other than these things he still wears a human face.
Right now he's hunched over that body, blood staining his mouth and claws. ]
[Alastor announces his presence by driving copies of his sword into the ground in a circle around Dante. Each sparks, then erupts in a pillar of lightning, converging in a dome above the cambion. Bolts of electricity connecting the pillars further secures the cage, while allowing Alastor to lower himself out of Purgatorio and down in front of Dante without harm. The electrical currents arc to the devil like plasma in a globe, but skim harmlessly over his skin and armor.]
[ Dante's first instinct is to flee, but as he straighens up and backs away, his foot touches one of the arcs and he finds out that's not a great idea. The little bit of human left around is chanting that he doesn't want Alastor to see him like this, but it's barely getting through other than making him feel fretful. And that's not a great thing.
Now he just kind of looks like a deer in headlights. But as for speaking - ]
That's exactly why you need to back off. If you keep up in this mindset, you'll end up hurting someone!
[He curls his legs up under him, shifting his weight in preparation to move. His fingers curl, claws the size of switchblades gleaming in the light of his electrical cage.]
What about other people? You know we'd both be more upset if you ended up hurting someone helpless. I know you do, even if you're too focused on the hunger to think about it right now.
Just take a step away from the corpse, deep breaths.
[A wind current picks up to blow the scent of the demon's blood away from Dante. Alastor has to admit, it smells delicious...but it's Dante's kill, so if he wants the rest of it once he's thinking straight again, it's his.
He touches down on the ground and slowly approaches, wings furled against his back. It's impossible to look non-threatening in this form, but he doesn't want to set off any instincts that might jump at any thought a rival might be moving for his kill.]
Find something to focus on other than the cravings.
[ It's difficult. He takes a deep breath and takes a few steps away from the demon corpse and towards Alastor. He immediately wants to cross back and start eating again, but he clutches his fists and it helps. ]
Yeah, just focus on me. All the lightning magic in me has a strong smell, so it should help block out the blood.
[He's much taller than Dante right now, but that's easily solved by crouching down. His hoofed feet and long tail make a stooped posture feel natural to him, bringing him down low enough to wrap his arms around Dante. Now, he smells even more strongly of ozone than he does usually, almost like standing in the middle of a stormcloud.]
[ The smell of ozone has become a familiar one, and the fact it's so strong right now helps. He's enveloped in it and he can't really make out the blood anymore.

He would hate himself after, if he did.
[ Vergil knows this for sure. ]

[He straightens up, pulling the phone so the cord is passing through his portal instead of him, and starts looking something up on his own phone.]
The job was in a place called Fortuna, right?

[ Vergil shakes his head, forgetting Nero can't see him. ]
He might hurt you if you do.

I'm gonna go to the orphanage and watch over everyone, in case he goes that way.
[ Nero is baffled and worried about this entire thing. It's not what he's known Dante for at all. Vergil speaks after he's done. ]
What do you need me to do?

Try to keep a level head, I doubt he'll want Eva learning about this. Other than that...be ready if I have to call for backup.

Good luck.
[ Vergil sets the phone back on its receiver. ]

There's still some left.

I know, but you're too worked up. What'll you do when you run out?

You can get me more.

That means you need to put the meat down until your head's back in charge, instead of your stomach.

[ Dante stands up all the way, eyes flashing. It's clear he is not at all thinking how he normally does. ]

I couldn't... Not you...

[ He doesn't know. All he knows is it's difficult to keep in charge of himself, to keep the human out even a little. ]

...
What did I do?

...Just try not to be sick when it clicks just how much raw meat you ate.

[ Too late. He breaks away to vomit on the ground. ]
That... Doesn't look any better coming up.
